We were so excited to see the students smiling faces again after the school holiday break.

The ANZAC day ceremony was a memorable way to end the first week back at school. It is a day when we recognise those who paved the path of freedom for both Australians and New Zealanders.

On Friday the 28th of April, the Year 4/5 students had the pleasure to commemorate and acknowledge Anzac Day with a ceremony that honoured and appreciated both our past service personnel and all current service members.

Prior to the service the students, staff and guests were given a sprig of rosemary to pay our respects to the fallen soldiers. It was a beautiful service and a great reminder of the sacrifices many made and how lucky we are to have the freedom we all have today. Our Year 4/5 students did an amazing job leading the service. Well done to them.
