Last term marked the start of Chess Club, with four eager students; Ashwell, John, Rory and Harrison coming together every Friday to practice and hone their chess skills with the assistance of Ashwell’s father Michael Lee. These students are now ready to put their chess skills to the test. They will be competing at the Interschool Chess Tournament on Tuesday the 8th of August at St. Paul’s Primary School, Mount Lawley. Here they will compete against five other local schools over eight rounds. We wish them all the best as they prepare for this competition.
