Dear Parents and Friends of Loreto Nedlands
Welcome back to our beautiful school community. I am excited to work together with staff, students and families to make our final year of Loreto Nedlands a memorable experience. The students are surrounded by dedicated teachers in each class and specialist teachers in Music, Art, Science, Health and Physical Education. The staff look forward to providing enriching experiences to every child, building on their gifts and talents. So in this Year of Justice, we ask God to help us be our authentic selves, to be people who strive to listen, understand and empower others, recognise our relatedness, and the right of all to fulfil their God-given potential.
Belated congratulations on the marriage of our Year Six teacher, Liz Uchanski, to her husband, Jack. Congratulations are also extended to Mrs Katie Sharman, her husband, James and big sister Isabel, as they are expecting a new addition to their family in early August.
We warmly welcome Mr John Rijs as our Physical Education teacher. John has worked in CEWA education for about 30 years and works part-time at Our Lady of Mt Carmel School in Hilton and as an Interschool sports coordinator. John will conduct PE on Mondays at Loreto Nedlands.
This a reminder that U-turns along the student entry on 69 Webster Street are not permitted. Last week we had a narrow miss between two cars. Please help us keep all our families safe.
The school will continue to keep you updated via our school calendar, and reminders, where necessary, will be sent out via SEQTA.
