This Tuesday we celebrated Harmony Day as a school by dressing in orange (the symbolic colour of Harmony Day) or in the dress from our heritage or culture. We also cooked foods from different cultures and had a shared lunch as a school in the staff room! The students thoroughly enjoyed sampling food from all over the world, as we celebrated the many different cultures and countries we have come from over the years to make Australia our home. We had Italian gnocchi, bolognese and cannoli, German cheese pasta, Aussie meat pies and lamingtons, Indonesian fried rice and Chinese dumplings just to name a few dishes! Thank you to all parents who cooked or were able to join us. We all had an amazing time and left with very full bellies!
