Students have had a fun and educational year in music using a variety of instruments as well as their voices to learn about different rhythms, scales and melodies. Last term, students composed their own pieces of music in groups and we are currently undertaking a ‘GarageBand’ project where loops and digital instruments are used to create absolute “bangers” – in the words of the students!
Instrumental students are also busy preparing for the Music Soiree Assembly on Friday 16th June. Congratulations to all who are performing, it is a fantastic opportunity to show off the hard work and practice you’ve put into your instrument this year. I know we will all be incredibly impressed!
