The purpose of the Code of Conduct for Loreto Nedlands is to describe minimum standards of conduct for all those who engage or join with Loreto Nedlands, in any capacity. It is an expectation that all who joins the school comply with the Code of Conduct. “The school” refers to all those who are associated in any way with Loreto Nedlands.

Child Protection Policy
From the moment they join the Loreto Nedlands community, students should learn of their value as human persons. Every aspect of the school’s life should reflect a Christian pastoral dimension. The pastoral dimension of a Catholic school needs to include the mutual care and support staff demonstrate both towards each other and for their students.

Staff Administration of Medication
Where possible student medication should be administered by the student or be administered by the parent/guardian in times other than school hours. As this is not possible in all instances, the Principal approves that school staff administer prescribed medication to students, and the following requirements are being met.

Aboriginal Education Plan
Loreto Nedlands strives to embed specific teaching and learning opportunities that will assist students to develop an understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community cultures, values and traditions. The Australian Curriculum outlines three interconnected elements to be addressed in the teaching of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures – Country / place, Culture and People.
